More precisely, it measures the diameter of the slug, and not its length or power.
There are two ways of measuring caliber - American (in inches) and Metric (in millimeters).
What are Ammo Reloading Supplies?
Ammo Reloading Supplies are all the necessary items you need for precision reloading.
These include Bullet Brass, Bullet Projectiles, Reloading Press,
Reloading Dies, Powder, Primers, Ammo Boxes, Case Tumbler, Scale, Calipers, and Powder Funnel.
How do you measure bullet weight?
Bullet weight is measured in grains. A grain is a very small unit, i.e., 1 grain is equal to 0.0647989 grams.
Why is a bullet casing important?
A bullet casing is important for a few reasons.
To begin with, it holds the propellant and the primer together and preserves them from getting moist or contaminated.
Also, its job is to expand in order to close the chamber. Finally, it frees the gun of unnecessary heat when it is discharged.
