The Patent Pending Arisaka Offset Optic Mount is a modular mounting solution that allows the user to select a 35 or 45 degree offset position for a red dot sight without additional components. The 35 degree position brings the red dot sight up closer to slimmer, smaller scopes, while the 45 degree position provides additional clearance around wider turrets or larger, higher magnification scopes.
The mount is ambidextrous and is set to 35 or 45 degrees by reversing the stem between the optic plate and base during assembly.

I've got one of these mounted under the front end of a Strike Industries Adjustable Scope Mount (ASM). The base of the Arisaka is mounted on the first available pic section of the handguard and JUST BARELY clears the cantilevered-forward scope mount, with literally maybe a couple hundredths of an inch between the two. I am running this offset 30 degrees from my rail paired with a Sig Sauer Tango6t in a scalar works mount. I placed it right behind the scope which makes it sit so close without touching and doesn’t interfere with the throw lever in its current configuration. A Holosun is mounted on it and it fits, feels, and works perfectly.
