Per regulations, a rifle barrel length must exceed 16" without being considered an NFA item. Our Pin & Weld service is available to permanently attach many muzzle devices to your barrel, thereby achieving compliance with these regulations. Compliance will vary depending on barrel length and muzzle device specifications. Call with any questions regarding this procedure.
Please NOTE:We do not pin and weld titanium or aluminum muzzle devices.
Disclaimer: Though we try our best to make sure that the muzzle device is un-pinned without damage, there is a possibility that the un-pinned muzzle device cannot be reused.

I had my upper Assembled + Accurized by Rainier Arms. I usually build my own but in this instance I was also having a A2 Front Sight post installed on a new barrel in front of a free float hand guard and a flash hider pinned so it just made sense to have Rainier build the entire upper. I don't really trust anyone but myself to work on my firearms ...Read MoreRead more about I had my upper Assembled + Accurized
but, Rainier did a great job. Not only was it flawless but the turn around time was very fast. I haven't ever had any one else help with one of my builds until now but, If I ever need help again the gunsmiths at Rainier will be the ones to do it! Q: Is timing the muzzle brake part of the pin/weld service? Also, when you receive the parts, could you confirm if the OAL = 16” before starting service?

A: If your muzzle device is something other than a surefire warcomp and you want a specific timing, please include that information when you send your parts in. We do confirm OAL prior to any work being performed.

Q: Looking to have a superlative arms adjustable gasblock pinned to a 10.5 lmt mrp barrel. Can you remove the factory block and pin the new one? Is there an additional cost for this service?

A: We cannot work on LMT monolithic barrels at this time, sorry.

Q: Is it possible to pin and weld a muzzles device with the barrel still in the receiver? I bought a PSA Jakl 10.5 upper before the ban and want a 6'' SD tactical blast can permanently attached but from what I hear its not an easily removable barrel.

A: As long as we have at least 1" of clearance between the pin location and the handguard we can pin the barrel without anything being removed.

Q: Do you cut and thread anything other than AR Barrels? I have a Remington 597 .22LR (20in barrel) that I would like to mount a suppressor to. Thank you.

A: We should be able to do that, please note however that additional charges will apply if you are not able to provide the barrel removed from the action.

Q: I have a Caspian 1911 frame I'd like fitted to a Para 1911 upper I have. Can you guys fit the frame to the upper so that its tight - with no other movement/rattling? If so, how much do you charge for this fitting and how long out are you scheduling? (How long will it take to get it back?) Thanks!
