Purchased this because it showed to be compatible with superlative piston kit and the price was in the right ballpark. Which it was. The screws that connect the hand guard to the barrel nut don’t sit flush. I also am not a fan of having a barrel but that needs to be timed. I did like that the barrel nut took a standard wrench.

I like the narrow profile makes for a good grip and lightweight. However, it didn’t come with the barrel nut wrench as described and barrel not thread is slightly undersized to upper receiver thread on two different uppers. It is actually removing the anodize from thread.

Great solid hand guard. I did have to buy extra shims to bring grip away from receiver. The provided shims were not enough to install hold down screws, both receivers were F1 as well.
