Stock functions well. However, fit and finish is just “ok”. The stock clearly started off as black and was then cerakoted FDE. In some places the cerakote is thin and the black shows through. Great service by Rainer as always.

For the price I expected much better quality. The paint has runs and there are areas with no paint. The stock is very stiff to retract and easily removed into two pieces. I contacted F5 MFG by email and never heard back from them. Hopefully PSA manufacturers their own stock for the jakl in the near future.

Recently spent the 300.00 for this stock. Once received I realized the triangular stock adapter extensions did not have either the F5 logo or the recessed milled/engraved area that is shown in all of the product photos on F5's website. has been removed due to customer requests. However the individual stated that the recess should still be there and asked "is it not?" I responded and stated its just smooth with no recess. No further response after that. Now with this said, the only reason I was concerned is that this version of this stock was specifically made to accent and fit the Jakl upper receiver. That recess helped the aftermarket stock to blend with the upper and looked much better that the plain smooth extensions. F5 has obviously stopped this machining process and I was a little disappointed that it was not present on the stock adapter that I received. The quality of the stock is very good I was just hoping for a better look where it nests around the upper receiver. They should probably update their product images on their website.
