Faxon's MATCH SERIES of barrels takes our renowned performance and value up a notch.
Manufactured 100% in-house from gun-barrel-quality bar-stock, the Match Series starts with 416-R in 5R rifling. 5R is a hybrid rifling, with lands opposite grooves and reduced sharp angles that reduces jacket deformation increasing velocity and easy cleaning. We chamber our Match Series in .223 Wylde, a hybrid chamber that the 5R rifling takes full advantage of. Better accuracy through less bullet jump, but fully and individually MPI tested for your safety. After rigorous testing, the barrels are Nitride treated inside and out, locking in the bore, improving barrel life, and keeping the elements at bay.
The extension is coated in NP3, a nickel-teflon coating that maintains incredible dry lubricity, corrosion resistance, and with the coating, tightens up fit between the extension and receiver - again improving upon accuracy. Combined, the Match Series of barrels are ready for when duty calls or the buzzer beeps with unrivaled performance value.

I love this barrel. This was my first assembly and with the research I did i wanted a Faxon barrel. I couldn’t be more happy with how it looks, fits, and preforms. I would definitely recommend Faxon to anyone doing a build.

Beautiful looking barrel and Rainier delivered it incredibly fast. I however have yet to assemble it as I’m still waiting on my loader to be shipped. I will update once I have a chance to assemble and shoot it.

Fluting pattern is really nice. The flame marks definitely are one of a kind. The machining quality of Faxon definitely looks nice. Highly recommend this barrel. The metal Faxon uses is very high quality.

Shipping was fast. Box showed up with no signs of damage. Barrel was tightly wrapped in bubble wrap and then again in shipping paper. Currently waiting on a couple more parts so that the barrel and build can be completed. Love the fluting design. Will look good on the BCM upper and under the BCM 15" handguard.
