The barrels are made of high-quality steel, cut to an octagon profile as another nod to the rifles that won the West, blued for corrosion resistance, polished, and the rollmarks are filled with gold paint by hand.

Magazine capacity depends on the chosen configuration (seven rounds in the carbine). Either way, a side loading gate just below the receiver’s ejection port allows you to keep it topped off without dropping the rifle from your shoulder. The tube magazine is also removable for safe, quick, and convenient unloading.

To get you on target, the Big Boy Brass has a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a reversible insert. Because all eyes are different, the insert has a white diamond on one side to help line up the brass bead front sight and nothing on the opposite side if it’s too distracting. If your preferred sight picture involves magnification, the receiver is drilled and tapped to accept a scope base.

Both the straight-grip buttstock and the forearm are crafted from luxurious genuine American walnut and accented with a polished brass barrel band and buttplate to match the receiver.
