Replaces standard cotter pin found in the bolt carrier to retain the firing pin. The cotter pin is difficult to install at times and is subject to breaking.

Since switching to these retaining pins, I've experienced an 80% reduction in cussing when cleaning my BCGs. My only gripe with this product is they don't sell them in 100 packs.

The sales guy told me it would work for my AR10, tried it out but it does not fit. Called them back & let them know, to save time and not return it I put it in my AR15 Spikes Tactical. Fit good, have not shot it yet. Maybe they will make one for an AR10, if so probably would get another.
