Scalarworks
Owner Phil Bartoszewicz founded Scalarworks. The company is known primarily for optic mount options (particularly the Scalarworks LEAP) and iron sights in four general areas, but each of those categories includes a number of related products and QD mount choices.
They are:
- The LEAP Quick-Detach Scope Mount series1
- Their KICK Optic Riser extension mount series2
- Scalarworks SYNC integral shotgun mounts3
- PEAK Iron sights4
1 In addition to the sleek Scalarworks LEAP mount for 30mm and 34mm scope rings (Vortex Optics, Nighforce, , there is a LEAP mount for several reflex sight. There are also two magnifier mount models (LEAP/06 and LEAP/16) at three (3) different heights. The Scalarworks LEAP has no protruding levers, knobs, or bolts to catch on clothing or equipment. The knuckled Mk2 rings are designed to stay clear of a scope's adjustment turrets and eliminate the painstaking process normally required by traditional split rings.
2 This includes SideKICK, an offset red dot mount collection for most modern red dot sight brands (Trijicon RMR, several Holosun optics, some Aimpoint and Leupold DeltaPoint Pro models, etc.). For instance, the Scalarworks Kick02 has a right and left-hand version for the RMR, 407C, and 508T.
3 Various Benelli, Beretta, Mossberg, and Remington mounts for the RMR, Micro, ACRO, and DPP.
4 Peak/01 fixed irons and Peak/02 folding folding irons in 1.57" and 1.93" heights.
Scalarworks was founded in Bartoszewicz's attic in South Orange, New Jersey, and eventually moved to a more firearm-friendly state. Every Scalarworks product is designed, engineered, and manufactured in the United States, specifically in Easton, Pennsylvania. After the success of an initial production run of “Low Drag Mounts" Bartoszewicz was contacted by Primary Arms, requesting to be a dealer. They've done nothing but grow in size and reputation since then. They now have well over a hundred dealers, including Rainier Arms.
