I purchased this receiver set for a high end build. The upper and lower fit together as long as you don’t want to use takedown pins. The front holes don’t like up correctly so there is a bow in the receiver that doesn’t allow the rear pin to be pushed through without serious pressure and tools once the front pin is in place. on the front pin is insane. This was likely due to improper drilling when it was initially made. Part of what makes the AR15 suitable for combat is the ability to field strip it which makes this set laughable due to the improper manufacturing. Based on other reviews this seems to be specific to mine, but that means they absolutely did not check it prior to approving and shipping. Poor quality control means I can NEVER trust anything from them. Wanted to love this but it will be added to the trash parts bin. Save your money and go with more reputable brands. I wanted to write this as an update to my one star review I left, Dave at NLA reached out to me and discussed all the issues they had when taking over Ascend, I sent pictures of my issues and they sent new parts out to rectify the problems and now it is back to the standards I expected. Customer service is spot on over at NLA.

I've got three of these receiver sets and they are hands down, my favorite. Tolerances are extremely tight and machining and finish is great. These are now my go to sets for builds.
