I will put these on all my BCGs.

Installed this on my competition rifle. Easy to do with gas staking tool. Worth every penny, not that I have had many square cam failures (only one, which is one too many). Action seems smoother. p. Roller cam is also compatible with BRN tuneable gas keys. I would not recommend attempting to notch a standard gas key to use with a roller cam. Read Less

Just roll with it....

Great product, well made, awesome upgrade to any DI carrier. It really makes for a superior and personal build selecting every single part on an AR.

Q: What material is the gas key made of and does it really matter? Just wondering since it was fairly easy to stake it with a small automatic set punch tool. Plus a lot of companies describe the gas key material.

A: That should be 8620 steel, but POF would be the people to ask regarding that.

Q: Will the roller cam pin function properly without using the modified gas key? What is the disadvantage if you use the cam pin alone without the modified gas key? Is there a malfunction risk if the cam pin is used without the modified gas key? Ideally I would like to use the roller cam pin as a drop in replacement on one of my Nickel Boron bolt carriers without the hassle of removing the gas key and having the modified gas key staked.

A: Without the modified gas key it is impossible to remove or install the cam pin in a DI setup gun without removal of the key itself.
