Our Craftsmanship
Rainier barrels are meticulously designed and machined by precision gunsmiths. Our barrels are turned the same way true artisans have made premium rifle barrels for over a century. Each barrel has hand-cut chambers and crowns with the attention to detail that can only come from highly trained human intervention. While most companies strive for faster production time to cut costs, we strive for perfection. There are no shortcuts with our barrels, period.

Reviewing this having not yet shot this specific barrel yet, although it is my 3rd rainier arms barrel and the other two are absolute tack drivers. This one has a couple engravings near the threads with the caliber and logo, very nice touch. Can’t wait to let it rip.

So I picked this barrel up for my match upper build. The thing looks great, installed as expected. This is my first .223 wylde so I'm excited to see what it's capable of. Built the upper and waited for an opportunity to hit the range. I've got a variable optic on this upper, I feel like folks will want to know that. t 50 yards then zero at 100. I was shooting off of a bench with my range bag as the front rest and a shooting sock on the rear. I sighted in then transitioned to 100 yards for zero. I was shooting 55gr and I was a little disappointed when it was printing at 2 MOA. I was hoping for something a little tighter. So I switched to 62gr. Fired my next 5 just to get a group and it printed roughly 1.5 MOA. I was a little happier but I felt like this thing should be printing closer to 1 MOA. Swapped for a fresh target and focused on fundamentals incase it's a bad case of user error. With 62gr it kept consistently printing around 1.5 MOA. I swapped uppers just to see if it's me or the barrel. The upper i put on was my practice upper with a 16 inch carbine length with an A2 front sight and standard carry handle rear sight. I printed 1 MOA with iron sights. (Seriously, it kind of surprised me) So I guess I need to put it in a sled to verify what it's capable of. It will shoot well enough for my application for it but I expected a little tighter groups for a "match" barrel.

Been having problems with my stock barrel not holding a 3 shot groupings, put this barrel on and had 6 in the center with 3 in the same hole. Super excited, will have a customer for life. Thank You for making such a great product.
Review by Martin T. on 21 Dec 2019review stating From just over 2 inches, to 1/2 inch
Installed the Rainiere match 16 in with the Wylde chamber plus the low profile gas block on my 100% stock Springfield Saint. Factory barrel wouldn't shoot better than 2 inches with any ammo. Shot 1/2 inch group with the Hornady white box match ammo and this new Rainier Barrel.
