Our billet sets are CNC machined from solid billet 7075-T6 aluminum which is 70% stronger than the commonly used 6061 aluminum and finished with milspec hardcoat anodize to a surface hardness of 60 Rockwell. We have designed our lowers with an ambidextrous bolt release with extended latch for smoother deployment. The precision machining on our billets are well known in the industry and we are excited to introduce our combo sets for your next .308 rifle build.

I ordered mine on the Sunday of labor day weekend. It got to me 4 days later. So, even with two nonbusiness days in there it shipped to my FFL blisteringly fast. I am highly impressed and would recommend Rainier to anyone and everyone!

Have both a Criterion and Proof research barrel for this set up and the Proof barrel fits the best but is fairly loose and can be slid in and out with no resistance, the Criterion has wobble, both would fall out if turned towards the floor. The fit/finish looks great. I couldn’t find a single flaw at all. When paired with a Ballistic Advantage 6.5 Creedmoor barrel, it was a tight fit.
