Built in collaboration with Shadow Systems and John Lovell of the Warrior Poet Society, the new War Poet 9mm was created to be the ultimate multi-role duty Pistol. WPS chose the DR920 as the platform because it excels as both a duty weapon as well as a range pistol—and because it's fully compatible with existing Glock 17 holsters, magazines and gear.
DR920 War Poet:
- Built on the Shadow Systems DR920 full-size platform and compatible with Gen4 Glock 17 holsters, mags and accessories
- Developed in conjunction with John Lovell and Shadow Systems
- Extended beavertail and contoured frame for a high grip
- Slide is machined from 17/4 stainless steel
- Optics cut-out for Trijicon RMR/Holosun-pattern red dots
- Front/rear serrations for improved handling
- Thinned slide profile at grasping locations
- Barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel
- Conventional rifling for use with lead bullets
- Flat-faced polymer trigger with 4.5-5 lb. trigger pull
- Metal solid black rear sight and high-visibility green outlined tritium front
- Single spring system is user-adjustable and manufactured from chrome silicon
- Magwell extension enables quicker reload under stress
- Compatible with Glock 17 mags
- Includes (2) 17-rd. magazines and (3) interchangeable backstraps
