The Recoil Reduction System was designed to completely replace the standard buffer and noisy buffer spring in any AR-15. The systems main purpose is to reduce felt recoil by 30%. There are two functions that happen when the system engages, the primary impulse begins to travel the brass piece rearwards and the secondary impulse begins to travel the follower rearward and the two meet and cancel each other out. Another added feature with this system is the captured spring which allows for a quieter platform as the BCG travels through the buffer tube.

I have 4 of these systems in my AR's now.. I first tried the Shooting Innovationsystem when I built a budget rifle for my dad. The only upgraded parts I used was this recoil buffer system and a lantac dragon muzzle brake AND this rifle shoots smoother than my personnel ar15s that i have put thousand of dollars into. All my rifles have lantac drago...Read MoreRead more about I have 4 of these systems in my AR's
n muzzle brakes.. I have tried most of the others and I feel this one is the best. In my opinion it beats out the Kyn shot due to a smoother felt recoil and less noise. I love all my JP enterprises parts and I really wanted the silent capture spring to be better, but the lack of recoil reduction makes the Shooting Innovations system better in my opinion. I even tried the Armspec stealth recoil system and it isnt as good at recoil reduction as the Shooting Innovations system. My only complaint with the shooting innovations is that it doesnt appear to as well made as the other systems. What I mean by that is the gold chrome coating and the yellow polymer leave visible residue in my buffer tube. I have never noticed any of the of other systems leaving noticeable residue. HOWEVER.. after thousands of rounds through all my rifles with the shooting innovations anti recoil system , this thing has been has been bullet proof. No jams due to this system. Dont even hesitate to put one in your rifle. You will notice a huge diffence is the noise and recoil reduction from stock.. Read LessRead less about I have 4 of these systems in my AR's

Ive had the SI RRD in my FN-15 16" M4 carbine for about 2000 rds now and its been great. No problems and it runs super smooth and quiet. Both my FNs ran silent and smooth stock but it is slightly quieter with this system and the recoil impulse is very short and light. Between it and my VG-6 epsilon brake, my FN runs like a sewing machine. I really...Read MoreRead more about Ive had the SI RRD in my FN-15 16" M4
like this system and highly recommend it. Btw i mistakenly installed it in my FN-15 18" match grade sporter with rifle length gas system (also reviewed) and it ran fine for several range sessions but eventually began malfunctioning. As i was complaining i suddenly realized the RRD is made for carbines only and after feeling like a dummy, i removed and installed in my M4 with carbine gas system with perfect functioning ever since. I have no idea how it functioned at all in the 18" or why it eventually began jamming but if you install it in a carbine or maybe a mid-length itll run like a champ. They are suposedly coming out with a rifle system but havent seen it yet. I will buy 1 though when it comes. Read LessRead less about Ive had the SI RRD in my FN-15 16" M4

Seems well made, durable.good looking too. I installed in my FN AR-15 18" match grade sporter. Install went fast and easy Can feel difference while manually charging. My FN is very smooth and quiet allready but this device does seem slightly quieter, smoother. the last inch of travel.the carrier never bottoms out w this system instead coming to rest against a very firm springy bottoming point. . I immediately felt and heard difference when firing especially offhand. Im not sure if it had anything to do w this system but i fired the 1st perfect 3-rd group at 25 yds (my local indoor range). Yes 3 rds into a single perfect .224" hole! I cant wait to stretch its legs at 100 yds! Perceived recoil seems to be reduced by a noticeable amount.maybe 15-30%. It has a very short, smooth and quiet recoil impulse.definetely noticeable and i can see how it could be very useful when running 'n gunning in particular. One issue-the bolt didnt lock open on empty mag the 1st time fired. It may break in and improve function eventually. Otherwise functioning was 100%.Ill update after ive had time to thoroughly test it out but for now the system seems to work as claimed and i do recommend. Review by Mike A. on 16 Jun 2017review stating Noticeable Difference
I am not shooting suppressed but the first thing i noticed is the sound. I didn't realize how noisy the buffer and spring are until now. I didn't notice a big difference in recoil, but with .223 there isn't a lot to begin with. However, the recoil has a different feel to it. The best way I can describe it would be smoother and more fluid. I'm happ...Read MoreRead more about I am not shooting suppressed but the

Q: Is this a typical weight as a standard buffer tube/spring ? I am running a piston upper and it will not cyle with my current aftermarket H2 buffer and flat spring
Rainier Arms

A: They haven't specified the weight equivalent, but they have tested it with a multitude of ammos and gas systems and have had this work. I believe they offer different springs if it were to be too heavy.
