The Superlative Arms patented "Bleed Off", gas piston system for the AR15 platform adjusts the gas flow by bleeding the gas out of the block instead of restricting the flow like conventional adjustable blocks.
The pressure used in the block is reduced only to the amount required to drive the bolt carrier. The remaining gas / pressure are bled out of the block allowing the system to run much cleaner and cooler.
Reduction of felt recoil.
Patented adjustment detent is located outside of the block and therefore no contamination.
The gas adjustment screw does not restrict the gas flow; therefore there is no erosion or seizing of the screw / no loss of detent due to carbon build up. Although it is removable, we have added a safety mechanism, which stops you from unintentionally backing the screw all the way out.
When using SBR’s and / or suppressors the bleed off port allows the excessive pressure to be exhausted out of the block reducing blow back.

I've purchased 7 of these bad boys for my builds and I wouldn't use anything else. Adam Arms pistons will only work with certain handguards but the SA so far works will all made for low pro gas blocks. Although SA states this piston is not recommended for a 300blk, it works great with my 2 SBR's suppressed and unsuppressed. Review by Jeffrey S. on 2 Dec 2022review stating Best suppressed after market gas piston system
My favorite after market gas piston system. Cycles like a type writer after tuning it right. Remember to go all the way clockwise, then come counter clockwise 4.5 circles or 18 clicks. Then keep going counter clock wise until your spent brass ejecta to your 3 - 4 o'clock (12 being the barrel) and comes out flat. Really cleans up our suppressed gun...Read MoreRead more about My favorite after market gas piston

Not too sure if it's better than DI for a gun without a suppressor though. Read LessRead less about My favorite after market gas piston

Very good product.it is the third one I have used.the current one is going into a 6mm ARC build.they all work flawlessly. I feel less gas blowback threw the charge handle which also is a plus.wish they would make one for a ar10 dpms 1gen style lefty

Wanted a good piston system for a 10.3 suppressed build and this thing delivered. Bleed off system works great to dump off all the extra gas and lower the back pressure. Tune it to the lowest power ammo you got then bump it up one click and the thing runs like a sowing machine. 10/10
Q: Will this be able to fit in an Aero Precision AR15 S-ONE M-LOK Handguard? Would a low profile adjustable gas block be required, and if so does Superlative Arms make one?
Rainier Arms

A: That should fit the Aero handguards without issue.

Q: Would this be compatible with a 300 blackout carbine length non-suppressed system?
Rainier Arms

A: Most likely not due to the reduced gas pressure of the carbine length gas system.
