Never used V Seven until I took a chance on their .308 hand guard. I liked it so much, I purchased a few other of their products for this build, including their bolt catch. Although I would prefer an enhanced bolt catch, I quickly became partial to this one.

I was having one hell of a time getting the bolt catch to engage properly with the standard one from the DPMS part kit. If it caught it was just barely hanging on. This has a lot less bulk to it which I think that the standard DPMS catch was making contact with my upper. It grabs quite a bit more of the bolt and does not jar loose.

I purchased this part for an Aero M5E1 build that was breaking cast bolt catches. I have since found that my issue was related to BCG over-travel, but after seeing how easily the cast parts broke, I wanted something that would last. And this is it!
